Birchbox February 2018 comes presented in a very pretty box that celebrates “beauty through the decades” which I can see in the design of the box, but I’m not sure how it translates through the product selection…maybe I’m just being dense though!
The Birchbox February 2018 contents is a good mix of five products spanning make-up, skincare and haircare. Both make-up items are full-size and the other three products are pretty decent size – no teeny, tiny perfume/skincare samples, thankfully.
Without even thinking about it I put Sebamed Clear Face Antibacterial Cleansing Foam into my favourites from the box, even though I probably won’t get to use it as it’s aimed at helping you battle breakouts, and I don’t really get them anymore…old habits die hard! It’s still a great inclusion though so I’m happy to see it featured. The Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray is another great product that I’m looking forward to trying as I love the brand and I always embrace anything designed to thicken hair. FInally, the ModelCo Creme Rouge cream blusher is something I’ll be putting to use as I’m now starting to pare back my face make-up on a day-to-day basis and I was thinking I needed to start using creamier products.
Next is The Beauty Crop Eyeshadow Trio in Love You So Latte, which is a great trio of colours and it only falls low on my list because I was more excited about the three products above, and something’s gotta give. The final product is the Percy & Reed Quite Frankly Flawless Finishing Polish which sounds like a fantastic product, but it’s only low on my list because I don’t think it would work particularly well for my hair type.
