A very Happy Birthday to Birchbox! I didn’t realise that the UK Birchbox shared the same birth year as my Little Man, but apparently they do! To celebrate the big 5 (Teddy’s is in November) the Birchbox June 2018 edition is themed around a tea party, and it’s surprisingly lovely. Not only is the June 2018 Birchbox actually a biscuit tin, but one of the extras in the contents is a set containing three yummy teas!
The Birchbox June 2018 contents is pretty good this months, with some great brands and promising products. There’s a bit of everything, with a couple of bits of make-up, skincare and hair care alongside the aforementioned tea, so lots of boxes are ticked.
I love the look of the Ella Eden Compact Eyeshadow, of which there are one of two shades featured in each box. I would’ve preferred the darker shade, but the lighter shade is still very pretty and will work as a highlighter too. I’ve been wanting to try the GlamGlow Supercleanse cleanser for quite a while, as I absolutely adore the matching mask for quickly tacking breakout-prone skin. I’m also always happy to see a decent SPF included, such as the Polaar Velvety Sun Fluid Face & Body, which sounds really good.
Nothing against Benefit POREfessional Pearl Primer and I’m always happy to try Benefit newness, but how tiny is that tube?! The Number 4 Jour d’automne Smoothing Balm sounds nice enough, but I just don’t think it’ll work with my hair type. Finally, the Whittard of Chelsea Teabags are low on the list purely because I have a lot of herbal and fruit tea in my collection already, but they’ll still almost definitely get used soon! The Birchbox June 2018 box is out now and can be found here – link – for £10 per month plus P&P.
