The Glossybox March 2019 box is all about empowerment, which I didn’t fully understand until I read the insert, but now it makes sense – funny that! The box contains five products from ranges that were all launched by “innovative and go-getting entrepreneurs” which I kind of like, as I feel like this box is an introduction to awesomeness.
It also really helps that the products themselves are actually really good: nothing excessively exciting but nothing terrible either – I’ve kept 4 out of 5 of the products to try out, which is very rare as I do try and be strict and normally it’s only 1 or 2! I think it’s the fact that the contents of the March 2019 Glossybox is very make-up heavy, and that always makes me happy.
The super cute pot of Laritzy Cosmetics Dew Pot in shade Utopia is sooo timely as I’m currently looking into cream highlighters now the weather is sunnier and it feels more appropriate to start on the cream formulas. The shade Utopia is a little too golden and warm for my liking, but it provides a very pretty and natural glow, so I’ll stick with it. The BYBI Plumper Lip Balm is also very timely as my lips are having some sort of nervous breakdown with the weather changes, so they need all the help they can get. This has a Lanolin-like texture with a minty/gingery flavour, but it tastes quite bitter, which is a shame. I’m always happy to try a new setting spray, so the Essence Glow to Go Illuminating Setting Spray is a winning inclusion that I’m looking forward to trying.
The BellaPierre Kiss Proof Lip Creme is another great product in the Glossybox March 2019 contents, with a variety of shades being featured. The only reason this isn’t higher on my list is because the shade I have is quite a brown-leaning nude and I’m not sure it’s something I’ll wear regularly, but it’s one I’m happy to try as I think lip colour is a funny thing – you never know if it’s going to suit you until you give it a go. The final product is the Toni&Guy Illuminating Hair Perfume, which looks and sounds incredibly lovely, but it’s the one product I can’t see myself using as I’m not really a hair perfume type – I always worry it’ll clash with my actual perfume!
I think it’s great that they are focusing on brands started by entrepreneurs! I love the sound of the Essence mist xx

I don’t love their box this month, I don’t know why they keep repeating Bellapiere. The Toni & Guy perfume sounds divine though xx
