There have been a few new launches from Mary Kay over the last few months, so I thought I’d group them all together to give you a little introduction. The products that have mostly caught my eye are the brow bits and the fragrance, so expect more detailed posts on those very soon.
There are some new additions to the Mary Kay Timewise line, the Mary Kay Timewise 3D 4in1 skincare range, which is actually designed to help delay visible signs of ageing. I actually assumed this was a range aimed at a much older age group as I don’t think it’s been marketed very effectively as a collection of products that’ll help people in my age range delay the signs (rather than older people remove existing signs) which is a shame as it seems like quite a decent edit of products, and I particularly like the fact that you can pick a collection depending on your skin type, for a truly bespoke, anti-ageing routine.
Mary Kay have a massive fragrance range – who knew!? The newest member is the Mary Kay Love Fearlessly EDP, which is a floral fragrance that comes presented in a gorgeous bottle that matches the fragrance perfectly. I won’t go into too much detail as this is more of a heads-up, but if you would like to know more, I’ll feature this in my Fragrance Friday series soon.
Now onto the make-up, starting with the Mary Kay at Play Liquid Lip Colours, which are a fun range of bright lip colours that are definitely aimed at a younger market, although the packaging and presentation isn’t so young that it would stop any age group using. There are matte and metallic shades covering a good shade range.
Now on to the brow bits; again this is just a quick intro as I’ll be doing a more detailed post shortly, but to give you an little insight, there are two key products, the Mary Kay Precision Brow Liner and the Mary Kay Volumizing Brow Tint. Disappointingly (but not surprisingly) the lighter shades are warm, so us ashy girls aren’t addressed in the line-up, although the Brow Tint is a little cooler than the pencils, so that’s something.
