It’s been a while since I posted a new Mask Monday, as I’ve mostly been working my way through some existing favourites, such as the I’m From Mugwort Mask or the Image Skincare Vital C Hydrating Enzyme Mask, but when I returned from my holiday I found I needed something gentle yet highly moisturising, so I decided to give the L’Occitane Aqua Reotier Mineral Moisture Mask a go, which is a mineral-rich hydrating mask suitable for all skin types, that can be used as either a traditional or overnight treatment.
The L’Occitane Aqua Reotier Mineral Moisture Mask feels exactly as you’d expect; it’s a thick, rich gel that feels like it’s packed full of mineral goodies alongside hyaluronic acid, without anything too greasy or oily, making this a particularly good choice for anyone who likes to avoid anything balmy or buttery, as this is much more of a dense gel. I’ve only used it in the traditional sense, by applying a thick layer and leave it to do it’s thing for a while (the instructions recommend 10 minutes, I think you can get away with much longer if your skin is particularly parched) and I found it really impressive; it made skin instantly feel calmer, cooler and more hydrated without feeling flooded or clogged. It has a lightness to it that I think spot-prone people would respond too, yet it still feels incredibly hydrating, so anyone who’s struggling with dehydrated skin would like this too. I also think that I could probably get away with using this as overnight mask too – something I mostly avoid – because it doesn’t feel like the sort of product that would clog pores. Finally, you can buy this in pod form if you fancy trying it out before committing to the full jar. It’s £32 for 75ml or the pods are 6ml in size for £4.50
I love using this as an overnight mask! In fact, I think I’ll use it tonight now that I’ve read this xx

I need to try it as an overnighter, definitely xx
That sounds lovely! I used the klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E mask for occasions like that, but I have run out of it and need a replacement.
