QVC UK are brilliant at doing beauty deals, as we know, and they often put out a deal that consists of a giant bottle of an iconic product that’s available for a special price for a limited time. I’ve been fortunate enough to receive a few of these over the years, but by the time I’ve gone to feature them they’re either completely sold out, or the deal has ended, so when the beautiful new Balancing Rose & Lychee fragrance of the cult Philip Kingsley Elasticizer arrived in a massive litre bottle, I was determined to get this post live whist it was still on offer, hence why I’m writing a post on a Friday evening finishing the longest week ever…
If you haven’t tried the amazing Philip Kingsley Elasticizer then you are missing out. It’s one of those products that literally any hair type would benefit from; it deep conditions and strengthens all hair types, and as you use it before your shampoo, it doesn’t add weight to hair. I use this religiously and have done for years; my hair is bleached, heat-treated and brushed maybe twice a week, if it’s lucky, but it’s also in really good condition and I genuinely believe that’s at least partly due to my commitment to PK Elasticizer.
For years you could only get Elasticizer in one (very pleasant) scent, but recently the range has drastically expanded to include a whole host of new fragrances, with the latest one, Balancing Rose & Lychee, being of particular interest, as it’s the first of the “Elasticizer Therapies” range, which pays attention to the holistic healing system of Ayurveda, so the scent is designed to go beyond something pretty to smell, and instead provides a balancing, calming, self-care experience during the treatment process…but also, arguably more importantly, it does smell really nice; the rose is fresh and clean, whilst perfectly balanced by the sweetness of lychee, that keeps the floral notes free from being too “perfumey” – it’s a lovely fragrance but it still very much smells like hair care, as it should.
The current QVC UK deal is £61.44 for the humongous 1 litre bottle, plus postage and packaging is free. To put that into perspective, the original fragrance is available directly through Philip Kingsley where 500ml, so half a litre, is £67, whereas the full litre is £92, so that is a truly huge saving for this brilliant product. It’s also available on 3 Easy Pays for £20.48 a month.
I always hear everyone talking about how amazing this product is but ive never used it i think because i haven’t chemically treated my hair in a long long time!

You definitely need it in your life! xx
The original is such a hyped product but I don’t think I have ever tried it. I need to get a small tube first and see how I get on with it . This is amazing value xx

Definitely try it! It is a truly amazing product, probably the only hair product I’ve ever used long-term xx
I like the original but I’m quite weary about how strong the scent might be with this one
That’s a really good point! I wouldn’t say it’s overpowering at all, and it doesn’t linger, I think the scent is just for the experience during the application rather than an attempt to scent the hair xx
I think I will try it 🙂
Definitely! Has to be done 😉 xx
Looks so lovely and I really like the colorful packaging.
It is very pretty! It’s a really lovely launch xx
Love the packaging & the pump!

Me too! I keep forgetting to mention how handy the pump is – it’s so much more preferable to sticking your hand in the tub xx
