I’ve been wanting to try Doll 10 for absolutely ages as all the bits I’ve seen from the brand look amazing – they’ve got a kind of “tarte meets IT Cosmetics” vibe, and since these are both brands that I love, I definitely needed some Doll 10 in my life. If you feel the same, the QVC UK TSV: Doll10 6 Piece Doll Skin Collection is a great way to dip your toe in and find out a bit more about the brand.
The collections contains everything you need for a full face of make-up, starting with the two products I’m most excited to try, the Doll Skin Anti-Stress Skin Perfector and the TCE This Covers Everything Concealer, the latter of which apparently sold out in 8 minutes! The Doll Skin Anti-Stress Skin Perfector is a full coverage foundation that works in harmony with the TCE This Covers Everything Concealer, making this an ideal duo for those of us who have a lot to cover – there’s a press image on the release of someone with a birth mark that completely vanishes. You also get the No.9 Eraser Buffing Brush, which is a densely packed (but very soft!) brush for buffing everything down into a seamless finish.
Next up are the add-ons, with a lipstick, blush and mascara. The Effortlash XL Mascara looks like my kind of mascara, as I really like a wand with lots of bristles that coat every last nook and cranny along the lash line. The final two products are the HydraGel Blush in You’re Making Me Blush and the HydraGel Lipstick in Throwing Kisses, both of which are a little too brown-leaning in tone for me, but my god do I love the sound of them (Hydra-anything will always get my interest piqued) so I will be holding off judgement on these colours until I’ve had a chance to fully try them.
The QVC UK TSV: Doll 10 6 Piece Doll Skin Collection is available now for £39.99 plus £2.95 p&p, or for three Easy Pays of £13.33 per month. I think this set is going to start a new obsession with Doll 10 for me, since I’ve already had a nose around the site and seen a palette and another foundation I want…The special price is here until 21st March, then the set will go back up to £65; still good value for what you’re getting, but the current TSV is definitely better!
