Apparently the pandemic has pushed everyone in one of two directions: those who are baking more and those who are shaving their heads. When I first heard about this, I smugly stuck myself in the “baking” category, since I’ve really upped my baking game (my lemon drizzle cake is the talk of the town, if you’re happy to consider my parents as town representatives…) but recently, after dreading another session of washing and drying my hair, I found myself wondering if I could pull off a shaved head; with my loooong face and, ahem, strong features, it’s a hard “NO”, but the fact that I’m considering it made me rethink my approach to hair care; I need to be smarter and play the long-game, I need to invest a little more energy without much more effort so that when I do eventually leave my home, my hairdressers won’t hate me.
The Pureology Colour Fanatic Multi-Tasking Hair Beautifier is a phenomenal product as it provides so many benefits, yet doesn’t feel product-y or make hair lank. My hair is now very long, very overdue a colour and trim and generally not in it’s best condition (much like it’s owner) and since I started using the Pureology Colour Fanatic Multi-Tasking Hair Beautifier, I’ve noticed a real difference. I apply this to damp hair – I’m quite generous with how much I apply but I keep it to the lower lengths and ends – then I brush it through with my Tangle Teezer, before sectioning hair and giving it a dry. My main needs from hair styling products are heat protection and an element of conditioning, but often, if you seek the latter, you have to then accept a flat, greasy mess to go with it if you have hair like mine that is fine and prone to oiliness. This is not a problem with this miracle spray, that boosts condition and adds weightless shine whilst protecting hair from heat. It also helps maintain colour, but as my colour has long since faded, I can’t comment, but I would be very surprised if it didn’t – it’s a little miracle in a bottle and I think all hair types would find benefit from this. It’s £25 for 200ml here – link.

It sounds like a product that I would love! x
