The last time I left the safe confines of my home was just before the pandemic took hold; I attended a launch for the new Dr Dennis Gross B3 Adaptive Superfoods Stress Skincare range at Harrods and it was a strange experience, since there were very few people at the world famous shop, and I got to hang out with a few of my favourite bloggers whilst finding out more about this newest launch. After the launch, we had a little roam around the store, where I saw people wearing masks and for the first time I realised that actually this might be a cause for real concern. I decided on my journey home that night that the next day would be my son’s last day at school, and we’ve been home ever since. It feels like such a long time ago already!
The Dr Dennis Gross B3 Adaptive Superfoods Stress Skincare contains three products, the B3 Adapative Superfoods Stress Rescue Super Serum, the B3 Adaptive Superfoods Stress Repear Face Cream and the B3 Adaptive Superfoods Stress SOS Eye Cream. The arrival of these three skincare saviours could not be more timely, since there are many of us who are really struggling with “isolation skin” that’s showing signs of stress and in need of products that’ll help create a balance; stress skin tends to be all over the place and needs skincare that will hydrate without overwhelming, whilst also calming inflammation and avoiding aggravating breakouts. All three of the products contain Niacinamide (B3) which is a notorious ingredient for balancing and calming inflammation and breakouts without drying skin out or being overly harsh.
The B3 Adaptive Superfods Stress Rescue Super Serum (£75) is probably my favourite product of the three, only slightly pipping the moisturiser to the post. I think the reason I like it is because it’s the sort of product that any skin type could make use of, as this is the ideal antidote for stressed skin, regardless of it’s usual type. It contains a whole host of goodies alongside the Niacinamide, such as Avocado, Cacao and Perilla Sprout that provide skin nutrition via antioxidants and essential fatty acids, as well as a trio of adaptogens which help balance the skin’s reaction to stress and allow it to adapt.
The B3 Adaptive Superfoods Stress Repair Face Cream (£73) is a really lovely moisturiser that again works beautifully to balance stressed skin, making use of many similar ingredients featured in the above serum, but with a lot more Superfoods that allow a stronger hit of hydration. This is the perfect product for anyone who likes skin to feel just moisturised enough, as this sinks in quickly, leaving skin looking and feeling calm and hydrated. The final product is the B3 Adaptive Superfoods Stress SOS Eye Cream (£67) which I’m mentioning as it’s part of the newly launched trio, but I haven’t given it enough of a try to give a fair review – I’m so rubbish with eye creams as I always forget to use them, but I will say that more often than not, when talking about eye cream recommendations, Dr Dennis Gross always gets a mention, so they appear to be at the top of the eye cream game. This product promises to reduce all the rubbish signs of stress around the eyes such as bags, circles and puffiness whilst promoting hydration in the delicate skin around the eye area…it sounds really good doesn’t it? Note to self, try to start using…

Hi, how long would you say it took before they start showing results?
Regarding soothing stressed skin I’d say within the first couple of uses; I only dip in and out of it whenever my skin is struggling though, so I can’t vouch for any long-term results.
