Like most of us, I’ve had lots of free time recently to ponder a little too excessively, and last night I was trying to figure out why it is that I love K-Beauty so much, particularly K-Beauty skincare. Whenever I fancy treating myself, or just whiling away a few hours reading about skincare, it’s almost always the K-Beauty shops I head to. Do you know what I think it is? I think it’s the way the products are marketed; they’re charismatic and enticing – think essences, beauty waters, ampoules and tonics – how can you not want to create a routine based around those?
Kosame Beauty is a perfect example of the type of online K-Beauty shop that’ll have you stocking-up on sheet masks and essences that you might not need, but you’ll definitely want. Kosame Beauty stocks some amazing, well-known (and often hard to track down in the UK) K-Beauty brands such as CosRx, Laneige and Innsifree, as well as lesser-known brands such as Lovbod and Package.
I was kindly sent a few of the iconic products stocked at Kosame Beauty, and I think my favourite has to be the Son & Park Beauty Water, which is a very lightly exfoliating and hydrating toner that smells gorgeous – full review soon. I also loved the Primera Essence Miracle Seed which came with a pack of square cotton pads, so how lovely would this be as a gift? I wanted to love the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, but it was a little too fragranced for my annoyingly reactive skin – if fragrance isn’t an issue for you, it’s a gorgeous product to use overnight as it’s very light but very hydrating.
