I’ve had a bit of sketchy relationship with Colourpop. I excitedly placed an order at some point in the recent past (I want to say this year but I think it’s probably longer, especially since 2020 has changed time for all of us and I have no grasp of it at all anymore) then received my goodies and found myself a bit disappointed! I’d ordered a palette that I opened up and all the shades fell out, then I didn’t on particularly well with the other products either, so I didn’t really bother with the brand again…until I saw the Colourpop Stone Cold Fox Palette.
I am such a sucker for a cool-toned palette and this is exactly that. I follow Colourpop on Instagram so I knew this was going to be popular, so on the day of launch I started furiously refreshing the site until I’d grabbed myself a palette and swiftly placed my order. If my relationship with Colourpop was previously dulled, the Colourpop Stone Cold Fox Palette brightened it right back up again as this palette is a total dream.
As you can see, there are 30 shades included in the Colourpop Stone Cold Fox Palette and they are just gorgeous. You have your traditional beiges, mauves and cool-toned browns, but there’s also a few shades that are really interesting, such as Play it Coal, which is a plummy brown shot through with plummy glitter. There’s a really good mix of mattes and shimmers, deeps and highlighter shades and lots in-between too. I’m also really impressed with the formula of the shadows, which is blendable, buttery and pigmented. The Colourpop Stone Cold Fox Palette quickly became my favourite palette and I genuinely look forward to using it.
The Colourpop Stone Cold Fox Palette is normally $34 (approx. £26) but they currently have a sale on which brings it down to $23.80 (approx. £18) however, at the time of writing it’s sold out, which is a bummer. Keep an eye on it here – link – for stock updates.
Thankfully, when I purchased mine, I grabbed one for you guys too! I’m launching a giveaway on Instagram shortly, so if you fancy winning one, head to my IG post here – link.
Disclosure: purchased by me.
