Another haul post! This year, I be hauling. Hauling a lot, it seems. I honestly can’t stop beauty binging and I think it’s because I’m taking a lot of pleasure from researching products and seeing how they measure up to the reviews, plus my skin has gone through more changes than Lady Gaga at an awards show, so I’ve tried to add to my skincare routine so that I’ve got a bit of everything depending on what my skin decides to do next. FUN.
The problem with a Yes Style haul, particularly one that’s reactive to skin issues, is that once the products eventually arrive, you might’ve addressed your skin problems and moved on with your life. I batch bought a load of different serums as well as a mask, a toner and a weird little gadget (it isn’t a proper Yes Style haul without an inexplicable beauty device) so here’s what I got:
I’ve used some Purito bits before, so I thought I’d give their serums ago and I chose the Purito Centella Unscented Serum (£11.73 here – link), because I absolutely love anything with Centella in it, and the Purito Pure Hyaluronic Acid 90 Serum (£9.71 here – link), for the same reasons – HA is a skincare dream. The Centella serum unfortunately didn’t suit my skin, but the HA seems a little more promising. I’ll report back with how I get on soon.
I purchased the Rovectin Clean LHA Blemish Ampoule (£11.40 here – link) because it just sounded like such a lovely, calming product for stressed-out, spotty skin, filled with HA and flower water alongside light chemical exfoliators to gently treat blemishes. Ridiculously, I completely forgot about this so I haven’t even tried it, but I will be rectifying that very soon. The Water Bank Hydro Essence Mini (£2.71 here –link) is another product that I thought sounded like it would add just the right level of hydration to my skin, so I’ll give it a go and see how it fares.
I used this haul as an opportunity to add more I’m From Mugwort products to my collection as it’s a range I absolutely love. I have the mask already (I think I’m on either my second or third pot) and I decided to give the I’m From Mugwort Sheet Mask (£3.62 here – link) a go as well as a mini of the I’m From Mugwort Essence (£7.31 here – link) and I really like them both – all I read are raves about I’m From, so I might have to make my next haul an I’m From special.
The final product is the Seoul Young Eyelash Tool (£2.02 here – link), which is designed to act as a skin protector during the process of mascara application. This is another buy I completely forgot about, but I will be giving it a go soon. I have very low expectations, so if you never hear me mentioning it again, you know why. I’ll give it a good ol’ rave if it deserves it though!
Disclosure: all products purchased by me.
