My second to last post on gift ideas for next week (!!) features a few bits from 7 Days, which is a cute and novel brand that is definitely aimed at a market younger than the one I sit in at the tender age of 36, but whilst the gift sets are definitely something I would consider buying for a teen, the mask sets are so cute that I would happily nab them for myself!
I was sent two sets from the Shine, Bombita! (yup, definitely not aimed at my pushing 40 self) range that are both pretty similar, with each one containing some of the sparkly body milk, then one set has a scrub and the other has a body spray. They are pink, glittery and the sort of thing that would make my 11 year old self squeal with joy, so if you’re buying for a beauty-loving tween then these are definitely an option, although each set is £20, which is a little more than I would’ve expected as obviously that works out a a tenner for each product.
The sets that I really like are the 7 Days mask sets as they are such a novel idea! Obviously the suggestion is that you use a new mask each day (each one is named for the day you need to use it) and presumably by the time the 7 days are up, your face will be gleaming with a post-mask glow to beat all others.
The set I received contains seven sheet masks, which I was especially excited about as I am going through such a sheet mask phase at the moment – my skin is really unbalanced and upset (very 2020) and I just find sheet masks really soothing and calming, so this set of seven different ones to try out is great fun and meets my current needs for a bit of skincare joy.
The eye set follows the same approach as the sheet mask set, just with under eye masks for each day of the week. Unless there’s something seriously wrong, I can’t imagine your undereye area is going to have such wildly different requirements on a daily basis, but again, this is fun, novel and a lovely little gift for Christmas.
