Something a bit different for you today! I was kindly sent the Marvin’s Treasured Magic Tricks set as a present for my son, so I thought I’d share with you a look at what it is and who it’s for, just in case you have a young person to buy for and have no idea where to start, as the Marvin’s Magic range contains a great selection of sets of all different sizes and price points with some fab themes and concepts. This is also an engaging and practical gift that’s so much better than a Switch game!
The Marvin’s Treasured Magic Tricks set is wooden box containing a small selection of tricks (and all the props you need to perform such tricks) along with a detailed instruction leaflet that’s plain and easy to understand; my son has just turned seven and he followed the instructions with no issues. There’s a really good selection of tricks, with a few easy ones to start off with and drum up interest in learning more. What I really like about these sets is that they’re engaging, so they encourage children to focus and work at perfecting the trick.
There are many different types of sets available to suit all different tastes and age groups; the Marvin’s Treasured Magic Tricks set is designed for age six and up, but there are a few kits aimed at slightly older – I don’t think anyone younger than six would be particularly well suited to such a gift as you do need to concentrate and discipline – and I like the fact that there are so many options.
Find a selection of Marvin’s Magic sets at Amazon, with prices starting at around £10 (most sit around the £15 – £20 mark) and you can find them here – link.
