I think we should all take a moment to appreciate the prettiness that is the Glossybox UK December 2020 box – themed “Best Time of the Year” – which is just a joy to look at: silvery white, lilac and blush pink sparkle over a Wintery image, it’s incredibly festive whilst managing to avoid being too “Christmassy.” I so rarely keep the boxes, but this one is definitely a keeper.
The Glossybox UK December 2020 contains five products and there’s definitely a maroon theme happening on the interior, both with the filling and the products themselves. This isn’t the best Glossybox box I’ve ever seen, as there are only a couple of products I’m really excited about, but the contents are designed to be suited to this time of the year, when we’re indoors, cozy and suffering from all the joy that comes from the cold, so I get why each product was chosen.
SportFX Blend and Go Make Up Sponge – I’m absolutely thrilled to see this included in the box as it is my all-time favourite beauty sponge by a mile; I actually go to Sports Direct once a year to stock up on these are they are truly the best – they’re a kind of silicone/sponge hybrid, so they don’t absorb product, but they’re also spongey enough to press product into the skin and I adore them. They’re also a steal at a fiver a pop.
Nailberry Strawberry Jam Nail Polish – as festive colours go, it’s hard to beat a traditional deep red and this shade from cult brand Nailberry is a very pretty take, with an awesome shade name.
Wander Beauty Inc Baggage Claim Gold Eye Mask Packette – I quite like the idea of these fancy eye masks, which contain three layers of sheet to ensure a good balance of grip and product penetration.
Symbiosis Glycolic Acid + RNA Overnight Rejuvenating Eye Serum – apparently this innocuous tube of eye cream has a value of £120!! I haven’t tried it yet, but I like the sound of the ingredients and I hope it’ll provide a level of eye care worthy of such a price tag.
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Original Solid Jar – boxes will either contain the jar or the body lotion – I got the jar which I’m happy to have as a I like a thick, dense cream for pesky dry patches.
