I’ve just about managed to squeeze in an Autumn collection before Winter kicks in in three weeks – can you believe it’s almost Christmas?! I’m excited to share with you a collection from Red Carpet Manicure, who are a brand of gel nail products and they are honestly my all-time favourites when it comes to gel polishes as their kits are so easy to use, their top-ups and polishes are affordable, they do a great variety of kits to suit individual needs and their shade range is awesome too! They also fairly recently upgraded their formula to provide nail care benefits whilst your wearing their gels, which is such a great idea considering we all know how potentially damaging gel nails can be.
I used an RCM polish again recently (will show you my manicure later today on Instagram, so don’t forget to follow me here) and as it’s been a while since I used a gel kit and it is such a pleasure to use; the whole process is really simple and the effects are instant and long-lasting. I am totally converted to gel nails and I’ll be doing my toes soon too!
The Red Carpet Manicure French Kiss collection is, as the name suggests, Parisian inspired with a really autumnal feel, so lots of muted shades alongside deep berries and a lovely pink-leaning gold too. The collection consists of six shades and these are:
Under the Eiffel: a nude beige cream
Falling in Louvre: a very muted, lilac-leaning pink cream
Paris at Midnight: a deep, blackened berry plum cream
Fashionably French: a medium, steely grey cream
Very Versailles: a slightly rosy gold shimmer
Parisian Dreaming: a deep brown cream
My favourite is Paris at Midnight which is what I’m currently wearing on my nails. It’s a really lovely deep plum that looks black in certain lights, but when a bright light catches it you can really see the plummy, purpley joy! It’s one of those shades that’s so good for the colder months when a deep shade looks amazing on the nails.
I also really like Falling in Louvre which I almost went for for my last manicure, and Fashionably French is a great take on grey too. Parisian Dreaming is probably the only shade I don’t really like as I so rarely enjoy a brown nail. If you like brown for your nails, this one is deep and chocolatey.
