I’m always so happy to receive anything from IT Cosmetics as I really do rate them as one of the loveliest beauty brands around; their products just seem to be designed to give you a little hit of confidence by enhancing and working what you’ve already got, which I think is just a fabulous way to do beauty, don’t you? The IT Cosmetics 2 Piece Je Ne Sais Quoi Collection has just launched at QVC UK, and the duo perfectly exemplifies what the brand does so well: you, but you on your best day.
The IT Cosmetics 2 Piece Je Ne Sais Quoi Collection contains a beautiful face palette and a matching lipgloss. The Your Je Ne Sais Quoi Complexion Perfection Palette contains four really well sized powders:
Bye Bye Pores Pressed Poreless Finish Airbrush Pressed Powder in Translucent
Sunshine in a Compact Matte Bronzer in Warm
Bye Bye Pores Blush in Je Ne Sais Quoi
Perfect Lighting Luminizer in Je Ne Sais Quoi
As you can see, these are four powders that’ll do nothing more thank just add a tweak of colour and/or anti-shine here and there, so four really versatile products that should work with most skin tones. I love the fact that the Bye Bye Pores Pressed Poreless Finish Airbrush Pressed Powder is included as I love the loose version, but I am such a mucky pup that I always make a real mess with it. I also really like the push-release fastener on this palette, which just adds a little something to the overall feel. Finally, I’m really pleased with the sizes of the powders as I often find these types of palettes can be a bit of a battle to use when you’re trying to pick up some blush and end up with a brush full of bronzer (for example) so this is a beautifully designed palette that I really love.
The Vitality Lip Flush Hydrating Gloss Soft Stain was a big surprise to me, as I kind of discarded in favour of the aforementioned palette stunner, but it was only when getting ready for bed last night that I thought I should give it a whirl and it is such a gorgeous shade! The shade is Je Ne Sais Quoi which comes out really milky at first, but it settles down into a gorgeous light pink that’s just on the comfortable side of bright, whilst still being quite natural and very wearable. The formula is also a joy, packed full of lip-loving goodies such as butters, oils, peptides and, of course, a healthy dose of Hyaluronic Acid.
The IT Cosmetics 2 Piece Je Ne Sais Quoi Collection is available now for £35 (plus £2.95 P+P) from QVC UK here – link.
Individually, the palette costs £32 and the lipgloss £18, so it’s a very decent saving.
