I’m sure you’ve already read all the raves about the relatively new Pixi On-The-Glow Blushes, but here’s some more! These are hydrating stick blushers that are so far only available in three shades, but they are three gorgeous, wearable, flattering hues that are so perfect for barely there makeup looks.
The formula of the Pixi On-The-Glow Blushes contains aloe, Ginseng and fruit extracts so they provide skincare benefits too, but even if they didn’t I would still be totally sold on them as they are such a lovely product. You get a really good amount in each stick (if you scroll through the pictures above I’ve included one where I’ve rolled the blusher all of the way up) and you can technically use them on both lips and cheeks, although I’ve only used them on my cheeks so far.
The three shades are:
Fleur – baby pink
Juicy – orange-leaning tango
Ruby – red leaning berry
The shades sound quite intimidating but they are very buildable and start off so sheer that I’ve been able to wear all three pretty comfortably. I love Fleur because I do love a baby pink, but I would Juicy is the most flattering for me and Ruby is surprisingly good at making me look alive after very little sleep, so they’re all definitely keepers!
Definitely a thumbs-up from me. I really hope they extend the range as I would love to see a muted pink and maybe even a highlighter or bronzer join the line too. These are ideal hot weather makeup picks as they glide on, buff in and take all the hard work out of makeup, which is exactly what you need when the heat is like it is currently in the UK. My favourite makeup involves a tinted moisturiser, this on the cheeks, brow gel and mascara and that’s pretty much it!
The Pixi On-The-Glow Blushes are available now for £18 a pop and you can find them here – link.
