I don’t think I’ve ever tried a L’Oreal Professionnel range that I haven’t absolutely loved and used to the last drop. What’s so good about the various collections is that they provide a very specific purpose (such as Pro Longer for maintaining quality in longer hair, or Inforcer, with helps add strength and structure) but they also all work really well to generally enhance all hair types, so you can add them to your routine as either treatments or regular use products depending on your particular hair needs.
The L’Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert Gold Quinoa and Protein Absolute Repair range is designed to, in a nutshell, repair damaged hair, which you think would make it heavy, unctuous and overly hydrating, but on my fine, coloured and fairly long hair I find it just right; it provides a good strong hit of nourishment without any heaviness or greasiness.
There are several products in the L’Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert Gold Quinoa and Protein Absolute Repair range, and I’ve been trying out the shampoo, conditioner and mask. Much like the other L’Oreal Pro ranges, the trio work best when you use the shampoo and conditioner as your regular use products, whilst keeping the mask to once or twice a week, with the results being both instant and cumulative.
Because this range is hydrating but still fairly lightweight, it’s a really good option for those with fine hair that’s long or coloured (or just woefully mistreated due to lack of salon access during the pandemic) as it’ll help to repair and encourage more elasticity. I think it would probably not be nourishing enough for those with extremely dry hair, but obviously that isn’t my hair type so I can’t say for sure.
I noticed that the L’Oreal Professionnel range appears to have had a makeover, with all bottles and tubs looking a lot more modern and I like it very much! Consequently, my images will soon be out of date, but it isn’t hard to track down this range. I also love that they have some mini versions available so you can try out of the products before investing. I’ve found the full collection at FeelUnique here – LINK – with 25% off, so prices start at just £4.10 for the minis, with the full sized products starting at £10.50.

I might have to try this out!
