When Neal’s Yard Remedies launched their Women’s Balance Body Collection, I could not have been more eager to try it as I love any kind of product range that’s designed with the intention of enhancing your self-care routine, and a range sold as balancing for women definitely ticks all of those boxes!
Inspired by the brand’s Women’s Balance Aromatherapy Blend, the range contains five products:
Women’s Balance Shower Oil (£19.50 for 200ml here – link)
Women’s Balance Body Cream (£30 for 200ml here – link)
Women’s Balance Massage Oil (£14 for 100ml here – link)
Women’s Balance Bath Salts (£15 for 350g here – link)
Women’s Balance Foaming Bath (£15 for 200ml here – link)
The fragrance notes are designed to balance and restore, so you have frankincense, geranium, patchouli and rose. My two favourite products in the range are the Bath Salts and the Foaming Bath, which can either be used individually, or paired-up for a really indulgent and relaxing bath time; most of my self-care routine is built around a really lovely, long bath, so any opportunity I have to embellish the experience I will grab with both hands, and I love using a set of salts and foam that work together in harmony.
I didn’t get on too well with the Shower Oil, mostly because it stays an oil and doesn’t lather, milk-up or foam, so it’s more of a gentle cleanser rather than a proper shower oil. I also confess that I haven’t used the massage oil yet, as I haven’t really had the opportunity, but I do rather love the idea of putting a few hours aside and giving myself a leg or foot massage with an oil designed to restore. I find that the bases for NYR body creams are always really lovely and this one is no exception; expect rich hydration without any greasiness.
The full Neal’s Yard Remedies Women’s Balance Body Collection is available now; you can either buy each product individually, or save a few quid and buy the whole set for £78.50 (a saving of £15) here – link.

I haven’t heard of this brand before, but they sound like a lovely self care treat! I am not sure I would like the shower oil either! xx
