The limited edition Christmas fragrances from The Body Shop are always something I look forward to, and the trio they have this year are particularly lovely; there’s Kindness & Pears, Joy & Jasmine and Love & Plums and it is a battle picking a favourite!
My favourite fragrance note ever is jasmine, so I fully expected to love Joy & Jasmine the most, particularly since it’s a really beautiful, soft take on jasmine (think light and creamy rather than knock-you-in-the-face jasmine) but I’ve actually found myself reaching for Kindness & Pears quite a bit, due to the fact that it’s so bright and pretty!
Love & Plums is a little deeper and more sultry than the other two, and it kind of reminds me of Diptyque Baies; it’s fruity and musky and a really beautiful fragrance that works so well across all the various products. Speaking of which, there are so many options if you want to try the three limited edition fragrances, with the usual Shower Gels, Hand Creams and Body Butters, but there’s also some great extras such as Fragrance Mists (such elegant bottles – great for Secret Santa!), Body Scrubs and even a Lip Scrub!
There are also various Christmas gift options that either include a single fragrance or a mix of all three. I have the hand cream trio which is such a lovely gift as not only does it allow you sample all three fragrances, it’s also a reminder of just how lovely their hand cream formula is – I’m using all three at the moment and they are really wonderful!
