I’m such a huge believer in the power of fragrance and I love trying new perfumes, particularly if they’re not widely known as it’s such a joy finding a fragrance that’s uniquely me. Beauty Base have a collection of fragrances that are exclusive to them, spanning an array of price points and tastes, so you can pick up a new scent that you can’t find anywhere else – isn’t that fabulous? Beauty Base are a real online beauty destination, stocking a wide range of beauty products from well-known to lesser known brands, and there’s always a great deal to be found, so if you’re in the mood for a splurge then definitely check them out.
I was kindly sent one of their exclusive fragrances, the Viali Royal Elixir Eau De Parfum, which is a beautiful warm and sexy scent that’s particularly well suited to those who, like me, love a vanilla base. The top notes are fresh and citric thanks to the orange, lemon and bergamot, which then settle down into fruitier heart notes that sit upon a base of amber, vanilla and white musk. I feel that the base notes are really what gives this fragrance joy, as I love the way amber and vanilla work together, plus the white musk gives it a little more warmth and depth.
The bottle for the Viali Royal Elixir Eau De Parfum is elegant and understated; heavy enough to know that you’ve invested in a decent perfume bottle without being too clunky. I also love the elegant lid, which is simply gold and black. One thing I really like about this particular fragrance is how long it lasts: I often find fragrances don’t last well on me (or I just can’t smell them anymore) but this one I could still smell hours after application, so it’s definitely made to last.
If Viali Royal Elixir Eau De Parfum doesn’t sound like your sort of fragrance then I would really recommend having a look at some of the other Beauty Base exclusives, since they have such a wide array with some great bargains to be found. I love the idea of wearing a fragrance that you won’t find elsewhere as I feel like it limits the risk of you smelling just like everyone else, so you can really find your own scent and make it work for you.
