Pietro Simone Skincare: The Fierce Infusion and Dewy Reboot

I received the gorgeous duo from Pietro Simone Skincare last year, just as my skin was absolutely freaking out and was the worst it’s been in a long time; it broke out with every new product, was dry, tight and very uncomfortable, so I had to put certain products to one side whilst I very carefully repaired my skin barrier and addressed all of the issues that were having an impact on my skin health. I was so excited to finally, fully try out this duo from Pietro Simone Skincare and I am pleased to report that they did not disappoint!

Firstly, how gorgeous are the product names – The Fierce Infusion and Dewy Reboot – doesn’t that make you want to slather them all over your face? What I love about the whole The Fierce Collection is that all of the products are the sort of things you’d want to use to pamper and indulge; this is not a budget range, more of a treat for your skin and your wellbeing, with the overall aesthetic feeling very clean and luxe.

When trying both products, I treaded very carefully, knowing how reactive my skin can be. I’ve used the products individually and together; I particularly love to include them in my weekly facial as finishing touches as they really add to that post-treatment glow.

The Fierce Infusion (£65 here – link) is a beautiful cocktail of ceramides, peptides and probiotics housed in a medium-consistency serum that’s silky without feeling silicone-y. It’s hydrating without feeling occlusive, so an ideal choice for those who struggle with hydrating products that are too rich. This is one of those treatments that has it all and can provide a multitude of uses, either as a daily repairing treatment for a compromised barrier or more maintaining skin health, or a treat a few times a week to give skin a boost.

The Dewy Reboot (£85 here – link) is quite similar to Fierce Infusion, but it’s more of a kind of serum/oil texture, but without any greasiness. It sinks in straight away and plays well with other skincare, including the aforementioned product. It’s also a great mix of skin-loving goodies such as peptides and probiotics, but this product focuses slightly more on hydration and nourishment, in a joyful formula that suits my skin so well.

The Fierce Collection from Pietro Simone is such a lovely collection of skincare that manages to achieve what a lot of other ranges struggle with, providing products that’ll really help with repairing and rebalancing skin without flooding it with anything too rich and causing more problems.
