The CurrentBody Skin Radio Frequency Device launched earlier this year and I wrote a full introduction which you can read here. Read on for an update on how I’m getting on with my treatments, plus don’t forget, I have a great discount code you can use if you fancy trying it out yourself.

When I first received the CurrentBody Skin Radio Frequency Device, I was using it regularly and seeing some great results, then I had to stop briefly for medical reasons (I was having some dental work and I was advised to stop all treatments just to err on the side of extra caution) so I finally started up my treatment routine again and I’ve been doing things a bit differently. First of all, I don’t follow the full face routine as specified on the instructions, instead I’ve been going rogue and just setting the time for an hour and making sure I cover my full face and neck. I realise this could mean an uneven treatment, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take as I find it so much easier to fit in my routine when I don’t have to stop every few minutes to see what treatment phase is next – this is just what works for me, but obviously it’s always a good idea to follow the instructions!!
I use the CurrentBody Skin Radio Frequency Device all over my face, particularly focusing on my crows feet, my forehead lines, my jawline and the area around my mouth where I have a lot of ice pick and rolling scar texture from previous severe breakouts. I have only introduced the treatment of these particularly issues recently, but I’m VERY excited to report that I think this is the area I’m seeing the most improvement, which is a huge deal as these types of scars are an absolute nightmare to treat. I’ve included a before and after picture below, the before is just at the very start of a treatment last night and the after is right at the very end.
Apologies the pictures aren’t clearer – they were quickie jobs last night in an attempt to capture the results; the video on TikTok is definitely clearer!
I will also say that if you’re acne-prone, I think this is a really handy device to have as I find it helps with all elements of acne: I have experimented with using it on top of actual spots (again, do at your own risk as this is not what it’s designed for!) and found that it seems to speed up the healing process, plus it really does plump up indented skin, which I hope is obvious in the pictures above – if you look to the left of my mouth you can see there’s quite a deep indentation that looks reduced in the “after” shot after just a single treatment, so I’m hoping the results will become a lot more accumulative on these scars as this will be like a dream come true – I will keep you updated! I also think that my skin looks more plump overall and my jawline more defined; as I said, this is just after a single treatment last night, so I feel like this shows just how effective the device really is. I like to finish my little mini facial with a session under my (recently purchased!) FAQ202 LED mask on top of a CurrentBody Hydrogel Face Mask for a real skincare treat!
I’ll be uploading a video on my TikTok feed here shortly – have a watch if you want to see me using the device in real time, plus I’ve also recorded some “after” footage so you can see my ski after treatment. Don’t forget, use code GEEKRF for a 10% discount and you can find it here – link.
