Last year I promised that 2024 would be the year I would share some amazing beauty tech, and this week I have been sharing some fantastically exciting innovations, finishing off with the AMIRO S2 Seal RF Skin Tightening Device, which is probably the device I get the most questions about when I share images of myself using it on Instagram. This is a fascinating device that is tiny and powerful, can be used in so many different ways, works very quickly, is very gentle (if used correctly!) and I have so much to say, so buckle in, because it’s going to be a long one…
The AMIRO S2 Seal RF Skin Tightening Device provide second generation skin tightening technology that quickly improves collagen production in as little as five days. It’s a stamping device (so you stamp rather than glide) that can be used on top of your favourite serum or sheet mask. However, if you really want to maximise results, there are a range of product add-ons designed to enhance the process, including some very cool sheet masks with coloured squares that interact with the device to tell it exactly where it is on the face so it can adjust the treatment accordingly: how amazing is that?!
The technology is a mix of radio frequency, LED and microcurrent and the device can be used all over the face and jaw, just tread carefully around certain part of the throat near the thyroid. There are four settings (Master Mode, Stamp Mode, Lift Mode and Sensitive Mode) and each of these settings can have their power level adjusted so you can find the exact treatment that’s right for you, depending on how often you would like to treat. Each treatment takes a maximum of five minutes and, depending on which setting you select, you are advised to use the device a few times a week. However, the Lift Mode can be used as a daily maintenance mode for two minutes a day, if you want to target treat a problem area.
As you can hopefully see from my images, the AMIRO S2 Seal RF Skin Tightening Device is a gorgeously designed product that looks fancy (it comes with a stand so you can keep it on your bedside cabinet for pre-sleep touch-ups) and is very easy and comfortable to hold and use. It sits well in the hand and moves around the face with ease. I have used this with both the provided masks and my own sheet masks; mostly because I want to make the fancy sheet masks last for as long as possible as they really are fab!
As previously mentioned, there’s an array of products available to be used with the AMIRO S2 Seal RF Skin Tightening Device, including two types of Zone Masks (the ones that communicate with the device) and these are the Lift and Wrinkle Defying Masks and the Soothing and Hydrating Masks. You can actually purchase a a bundle with the device that comes with a three month supply of product, which I would really recommend doing as it will give you the full experience and allow you to fully indulge in the advanced technology.
I couldn’t use the Lift and Wrinkle Defying Mask as it contains rose which my skin reacts to, but the *gorgeous* Soothing and Hydrating Mask is an absolute pleasure to use. You place it on as you would a normal sheet mask, then you engage the device on each area which is colour coordinated. You can then actually see the device light change colour which lets you know that it has accurately read the area to be treated and has adjusted it’s settings accordingly.
So! We have fancy tech, bold claims, gorgeous add-ons and the ability to finetune treatments so we get exactly what we want. That’s all fine and very impressive, but does the device actually do anything?! It absolutely does, and quickly too! I am a big believer in putting in the time when it comes to skincare and being realistic with your expectations…but I do so love a quick payoff too, so if you’re seeking quick and obvious results then you’re going to love the AMIRO S2 Seal RF Skin Tightening Device.
On the skin, it feels mostly relaxing, but it can get a little bit intense, especially if you’re feeling brave and want to use one of the more powerful functions on the higher setting. Each treatment stamp takes a few seconds (you feel it start and then you get a little buzz to let you know it’s complete) and in certain sensitive areas the heat can feel quite powerful, but it’s very quick, and obviously if you find it too much then there are lots of ways to adjust the settings to find one you’re most comfortable with. When I first started treatments, I eased myself in with the sensitive setting, but now I mostly gravitate towards the Stamp Mode, because I feel this mode makes the most of all the settings.
I have used this with my own masks, and it works really well, but if you want to take all the guess work out of it completely then the Zone Masks are a really sensible investment. I’ve had this device for quite some time and I remember using it for the first time, sitting in front of the mirror and peeling off the mask; everything looked tighter and lifted and I was so shocked! I’m fortunate in that I’m ageing fairly well and nothing is sagging excessively (yet…) but the lower part of my face is where I saw the most improvement, particularly around the jaw and mouth.
In conclusion, the AMIRO S2 Seal RF Skin Tightening Device is definitely an investment, but one I think you’ll get a lot from if you’re looking for a way to quickly, easily and painlessly boost collagen production and maintain healthy skin. As I’ve said in previous posts, I’m moving away from using harsh actives and instead focusing on keeping my skin healthy with gentle skincare and making full use of the advancement in beauty technology to gain results without upsetting my skin barrier. If you’re feeling the same, you will absolutely love the AMIRO S2 Seal RF Skin Tightening Device.
