L’Oreal Professionel are my favourite hair care brand, and in preparation for this post about the L’Oreal Professionnel Blondifier Range, I was pondering (yes, that’s right, pondering) the reasons as to why I liked them so much, and I think it all boils down to these three:
- Options – they have so many options that go so far beyond what we’re used to when it comes to hair care, with the Blondifier range being an excellent example of this, as this is a range for cleaning up your blonde hair and keeping it fresh, without actually toning it; they have plenty of toning options too, but not everyone wants to use cool-toned products to freshen their colour. Speaking of colour, there are soooo many options for your coloured hair, so you can completely tailor your routine to your particular needs.
- Formulations – the biggest plus, for me, is that I find I can use most of the products I’ve tried from L’Oreal Professionnel on my extremely fine hair, and they even if they’re designed to fix/correct/hydrate they do this without adding excessive weight to my hair. This is a huge one as I have very processed hair that I constantly tone, so I need products that’ll help undo some of this damage without creating any new issues. Some great examples of this are the Metal Detox range (especially good for those who bleach their hair – make sure you to take the Leave-In Cream on holiday with you to protect from chlorine damage and colour change) and the beautiful Absolut Repair Molecular range (read my review here) which is such a treat for all hair types.
- Aesthetics – I honestly just really love how the products look, especially now so many of them have refills available for purchase!
The L’Oreal Professionnel Blondifier Range is designed specifically for bleached and highlighted hair, to help you maintain the colour, keeping it fresh, clean and bright whilst adding a glossy shine without any heaviness. There are two types available – the original, which I’ve been using, and the Cool version, which I’ve been wanting and will be treating myself to soon. Each type has a shampoo and conditioner, plus there’s also a fabulous deep conditioning mask that actually works really well with toning drops too.
