The past few weeks have been fragrance heaven at my home, as I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by the most beautiful candles and perfumes to start and continue the year with. There is something so wonderfully classic about a Chloe fragrance; it can always be relied upon to produce the perfect “grown-up pretty” scent that’s gentle, feminine, a little bit sweet and a little bit girly. Chloe Love Story, thankfully, provides all the above in bucket loads.
Chloe Love Story starts with a sharp hit of citrus from Bergamot, grapefruit and lemon that’s softened and sweetened with pear and Neroli. The heart notes are both floral and fruity thanks to orange blossom, Stephanotis and rose, but there’s a little more sweet fruit from the yummy blackcurrant and peach. At this point you might be thinking that it sounds like a sickly blend of sweet fruit and florals, but thankfully the base notes of cedar, musk, Cashmirwood and Patchouli give the whole fragrance more body and add a level of sophistication that’s needed to round off this very wearable scent.
It’s virtually impossible to not like a Chloe fragrance as it’s perfectly suited to women like me, who want to smell feminine yet age-appropriate. I am wearing this on most days as it’s great at offering a gentle haze of scent rather than anything too punchy or consuming. If you’ve tried Chloe fragrances previously and enjoyed them, you will definitely like this one too. As the name suggests, it’s inspired by romance, so if you’re ready to start lightening your Winter fragrance choices and start wearing something a little more gentle, delicate and Summery, Chloe Love Story is a great choice. Prices start at £41.50 for the 30ml EDT and rise to £82 for 75ml of the EDP. You can find them all here – link – where I’ve noticed there’s also a gorgeous Mother’s Day set containing 50ml EDP and 100ml Body Lotion for £68 here – link.

I absolutely love this fragrance, I think the orange blossom mixes really nicely with the other scents!
