There is just something about a good Konjac Sponge that I find extremely appealing; I think it’s the fact that they’re so basic and simple, yet thorough and effective – I find the ease of them so lovely and charming! The Bea Skin Care Vitamin Infused Konjac Sponges were of particular interest to me as I love the idea of a product that’s infused with skin-loving properties, although, obviously, it’s difficult for me to assess how effective and impactful the vitamin-infused element actually is. The sponges have been soaked in vitamins A, C, D, B1, B2 and B12 as well as zinc, copper and folic acid.
The Bea Skin Care Vitamin Infused Konjac Sponges come in a box of four, with each sponge individually wrapped. The sponges are of a really good quality that are firm yet soft and work really well all over the face. I like to use them either to remove cleanser in the evening, or on their own in the morning to remove signs of sleep. They are gently exfoliating and leave skin feeling lightly polished without causing any upset – my skin is particularly angry at the moment and they definitely don’t make things worse. They come with a string to hang them to dry (they need to be left hanging on a hook rather than placed flat, otherwise they don’t dry properly) and the only criticism I have is that the part of the sponge where the string has been placed does tend to moult a bit as the sponge gets more used, so you get the occasional bit of sponge falling off. If you enjoy a simple, easy routine that focuses on gentle products that work, you need a good Konjac Sponge in your life and the Bea Skin Care ones are especially good, making them brilliantly priced at £22 for the four – so, £5.50 per sponge – normally you’d expect to pay around £10 for a decent single sponge.
