Make Up For Ever Artist Acrylip Lipgloss

The Make Up For Ever Artist Acrylip Lipgloss are the most fantastic liquid lipsticks – the formula is so dreamy and comfortable to wear, it literally feels like a balm gliding on the lips, yet without any greasiness and with the full-cover, colour payoff of the most pigmented lipstick.

There are 10 shades in total – although I hope they add more – with a good selection of brights, nudes and berry tones.  The packaging is a squeezy tube with a cushioned tip that ensures a clean, even application and takes away a of the usual faff that can occur when trying to get a clean finish with a liquid lipstick.  What’s especially fun about the Make Up For Ever Artist Acrylip Lipglosses is that they can be easily mixed to create bespoke shades, so in typical MUFE fashion, you can be pretty creative and the products have been formulated to allow that – these are also a great choice for ombre lips.

The shades I have, from top to bottom, are: Iconic Red (4oo), a slightly blue-leaning red that’s actually a very flattering take on this often tricky shade; Poppy Orange (301), a bright and bold orange with the tiniest hint of peach and finally Fuchsia Pink (201) a bright and very blue-leaning pink.  Surprisingly, my favourite of the trio is Iconic Red as it’s such a pretty red and isn’t too vampy or OTT.  There is another colour in the range called Candy Pink which has my name all over it, so I’ll try and get my hands on that soon.  For formula alone these are absolutely amazing, as they last for ages, then fade evenly and feel very comfortable on the lips with no dryness, either during or after wear.  Even though there are more than enough shades there to get creative and build your own shade, I still hope they’ll add some more to the range as I’m lazy and need convenience.  They’re £17.50 each here – link.
