Almost exactly a year ago, Shay & Blue launched their first ever QVC UK TSV, which went down so well that they’re doing it again, with a very similarly themed 4-piece collection, although this time you can pick your scent. The Shay & Blue 4 Piece Fragrance Collection contains three matching products in a choice of either Atropa Belladona (for more info on this fragrance check out my post here) or Black Tulip, the latter of which was initially introduced in last years TSV. This year we get another fragrance introduction to the gorgeous new White Peaches.
The main trio of products that are all full-sized are the Eau de Parfum Spray, of which you get a 100ml that comes presented in the lovely Shay & Blue box, plus the matching Body and Hand Wash, and Body and Hand Lotion, of which you get 200ml of each. How gorgeous would this trio alone be as a gift set? I love the old-fashioned process of layering fragrance, but I so rarely get the opportunity to indulge – I think if you really love the way something smells, it can be truly joyful to completely immerse yourself in it, ensuring every part is treated to a wash or a splash.
I’m not new to the Black Tulip scent (which is the fragrance I selected out of the two on offer) but the White Peaches scent is very new, and I’m very keen to share it with you as it’s so lovely! I was a little put off by the name, as I thought White Peaches suggested something sweet and sickly – like a big burst of peachy bubblegum, even though I do love the smell of peaches, but this is a beautifully crafted fragrance that’s definitely fruity, but it’s also quite warm and autumnal with a little bit of woodiness – roasted peaches, maybe? It’s lovely and a little bit different; if you like fruity floral fragrances but would like to expand your repertoire to include something a little more interesting, White Peaches will help you out. You get a 10ml bottle of White Peaches to introduce you to the new scent.
