The Morphe Glamabronze Face & Body Bronzer is a recently launched bronzer available in three shades. What I really like about the shade range is that it’s categorised by tan depth rather than matched by skin tone, so you have three levels available depending on what sort of finish you fancy. Each bronzer comes packaged in a large and sturdy case with mirror, making them well suited to travel.
All three bronzers are a matte finish and they all have matching embossing which consists of lines running vertically down the pan. The decent size makes them ideal for both face and body – you often get bronzers touted as suitable for body application, but the pans are so small that it becomes a total chore to apply. Thankfully that isn’t the case with these, as the size is really good.
The three shades are Icon – the palest, for a sunkissed glow; Megastar for a tropical tan and finally Phenom for the ultimate bronze. Icon is the perfect shade for me, leaning fairly cool but allowing my skin to show a touch of warmth so it appears naturally sunkissed. Megastar is a really good step-up, providing a slightly warmer tone whilst still looking natural. Phenom is for those who want to look seriously bronze, it’s also the pinkest leaning of the three.
I did struggle with swatching Phenom but I think that’s because it just isn’t designed to be applied in such a thick, dense layer, whereas the other two are quite buildable, Phenom provides such a deep colour that I doubt many people would need to apply so much. Having said that, there are always one or two that are the exception to the rule, so it’s worth keeping that in mind! The Morphe Glamabronze Face & Body Bronzer is limited edition and currently only Icon is available on the Morphe site, but I’ve linked to the individual pages below so you can keep an eye out for more stock – they’re £19 each.
I saw Jaclyn Hill say that these are a dupe for the Marc Jacobs bronzer! Great price too xx
Ooo that’s fab, I had no idea! They are really well priced and a great size xx
