Cult Beauty Skincare Haul

I’ve been fancying a few things from Cult Beauty for quite some time.  My skin has been playing up really badly for the last few weeks and I wanted to purchase a decent facial oil (I know it might sound crazy, but facial oils are amazing for acne as they balance everything out – find a really good one and it can be truly transforming) so I decided to treat myself to a few bits and here’s what I picked up:

The Disciple Skincare Good Skin Facial Oil (£23 here – link) piqued my interested because it sounded exactly like what my skin needs, a mix of balancing, anti-inflammatory and nourishing.  It also doesn’t contain rosehip (or any variant of rose oil) which is important to me as I find rose-based oils often break me out.  Finally, at £23 it’s also really well priced and first impressions are very positive.  I’ll make sure I share a full review soon.

I keep hearing amazing things about Summer Friday, particularly their Jet Lag Mask (£22 here – link) so I decided now was the time to give it a whirl.  It’s available in two sizes which I thought was really handy as I don’t love the idea of spending a small fortune on a product that might not suit my tricky skin.

There are so many products I want to try from Glow Recipe that I really struggled to narrow it down.  Then I saw the adorable named Glow Recipe Fruit Babies set (£26 here – link) and I had to grab it – what a great way to try some of the cult favourites from the brand.  The set contains minis of the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask, Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser, Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner, Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturiser, Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask and a sachet of the Banana Souffle Moisture Cream.  I’m not normally one for minis, but I thought this was an ideal way to see what the brand is about and whether it’s as great as it sounds, or just lots of unremarkable fluff in candy-coloured packaging.  I’ll let you know!
