Next month sees the arrival four new products from Decleor, all of which are designed to protect youth and prevent ageing thanks to the key active Mandarin Essential Oil. The Aroma Lisse range consists of a serum (Aromessence Mandarine Smoothing Serum), A cream (Energising Smoothing Cream SPF15), a night balm (Aromessence Mandarine Smoothing Night Balm) and lastly an eye treatment (2in1 Dark Circle and Eye Wrinkle Eraser). My personal favourite of the four is the Energising Smoothing Cream as it has a ‘just right’ texture (not too rich, not too matte) that feels as if it would work beautifully as both a primer and a day cream. It also smells amazing and it’s the sort of treatment I would imagine would really perk you up in the morning; it’s the Mandarin which is sweet yet fresh and zesty, and I think it’s most prevalent in this product out of all four from The Aroma Lisse line.
The serum and night balm are kind of a duo in my mind, as I remember using the Ylang Ylang versions as a pair and together they are a real power couple! The idea is that you use the serum in the morning and the night balm in the evening, but as I had combination skin I tended to use the serum morning and night with the addition of the night balm at night too. The Dark Circle & Eye Wrinkle Eraser is quite an interesting product as it’s pretty dense without being too rich, plus it’s got that balm-like texture that I tend to associate with Decleor, but there’ not a greasy feel. It’s lightly tinted yellow to correct darkness under make-up, but I’ve been using it mostly at night as a treatment; you can apply it as a kind of eye mask under the eye as it’s the right texture for this kind of treatment, then you just leave it to sink in. It’s too soon for me to report back any results, but I like the way it feels and smells, plus it’s very smoothing.
The Aroma Lisse line is aimed at women in their thirties who are starting to show the first signs of ageing and as I’ll be joining those ranks in just two days time (shout if you need my address to send all my birthday presents and whatnot…) it’s fitting that this range will launch shortly. The Aromessence Mandarine Smoothing Serum will be £49.50 for 15ml, the Energising Smoothing Cream will be £52 for 50ml, the Aromessence Mandarine Smoothing Night Balm will be £33.50 for 15ml or £57 for 30ml and lastly the 2in1 Dark Circle & Eye Wrinkle Eraser will be £32 for 15ml. The Aroma Lisse range launches on the 1st April 2014 at Decleor spas, salons and selected department stores such as Fenwicks and John Lewis.
