Every year, Dove release a new scent as part of their Purely Pampering line. There are some extremely yummy scents as part of the line already; Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla is on my ‘to try’ list and the other scents are Almond Cream with Hibiscus and Coconut Milk with Jasmine Petals, and the newest arrival is the Pistachio and Magnolia line, which currently consists of a Body Lotion and a Body Wash. The scent is quite sweet but thankfully not too sickly (although I enjoy quite sweet scents so the ‘sickly’ reference is up for debate!) and there’s a hint of Marzipan which I think a lot of people will like.
Much later this year we see a first for Dove, which are the Purely Pampering Nourishing Body Oil range, of which there will be two variants launching in July and I’ll share my thoughts on them nearer the time. I’ve said in previous posts that I have a soft spot for Dove, and that still remains as not only are their products brilliantly nourishing and gentle, they create lovely scents (I don’t think there’s a single scent in their Purely Pampering range that I wouldn’t use) and they don’t break the bank with most products costing less than a fiver.
The Pistachio and Magnolia line is available now, with the Body Lotion costing £3.99 and the Body Wash costing £2.29 (see! Total bargains), both of which are available from the usual Dove stockists.
