October 2012 saw the arrival of Your Beauty at Marks and Spencer; a beauty hall full of existing and upcoming beauty brands alongside current M&S favourites. It was a room designed to appeal to even the most cynical beauty lover as the brands and products were all carefully selected and credible which allowed us to be introduced us to a whole new host of extremely fabulous brands that have now become regular features on make-up tables and beauty blogs.
Fast forward to present day and there are a whole new host of brands arriving at M&S Beauty (they seem to have dropped the ‘your’ bit) making it a truly one-stop-shop for all your beauty needs. Don’t forget, if you don’t live in easy reach of an M&S that contains a beauty hall then all products can be purchased online too – link. Here’s a list of the new arrivals:
Fake Bake – launching on 31st March is one of two new tanning brands, both of which I’d say are probably the most famous and most used in the beauty world! Which leads me nicely to….
St. Tropez – if Fake Bake is not for you then chances are St. Tropez will be. I personally prefer the packaging and approach of Fake Bake, but they both do the same thing (exceptionally well!) at the end of the day. This also arrives in March.
Stila – this gorgeous make-up brand celebrates it’s arrival in M&S with the launch of three exclusive and nude-themed eye and cheek palettes for £19.50 each. These lovelies arrive in April.
Amazing Cosmetics – I’m not familiar with this brand but from what I can tell, they are most known for their Concealer (AmazingConcealer) which is the product that M&S will be stocking and I will soon be adding it to my collection as it sounds awesome; it can be used for everything and is available in two sizes, 15ml for £29.50 and 6ml for £19.50, both of which arrive on 17th April.
L’Occitane En Provence – much-raved-about skin and body care brand L’Occitane will be launching in M&S on 16th May. I haven’t really used this brand much, but their Shea Butter Hand Cream is possibly the only hand cream I’ve ever got all the way through as not only does it work beautifully to soften skin, it also smells gorgeous!
Josh Wood – March sees the arrival of Josh Wood, a brand that is probably most known for its blending wands that hide roots brilliantly. It’s a full treatment range that is reasonably priced and the launch includes some mini Haircare Kits for £15 which should prove quite a handy introduction to the line.
Pure Super Grape – this is a new product being added to the new Pure skincare line, but it’s an interesting one as it contains the latest ‘super ingredient’ of Resveratrol (everyone is going a bit crazy for it) which has been sourced from leftover pulp from M&S wine grapes. I quite like the idea that the food element of M&S is being involved to create some of the skincare products. Not sure on price or arrival date of this, but I will keep you posted once I find out.
As you can see, M&S Beauty is becoming the go-to place for amazing beauty finds – don’t forget about the existing lines such as Pur Minerals and Apivita – and I’m very excited about these new arrivals. Head to M&S Beauty online – link – to find out more.
It’s great that they’ll do Stila – LOVE their blushers and eye pencils :o) Xx
