GOSH Forever Eye Shadows in Beige, Light Copper, Brown and Grey

Gosh Forever Eyeshadows in Beige, Light Copper, Brown and GreyPIN IT

At the GOSH SS14 preview last week I was mostly drawn to the new Lip Lacquers as I mooched around the various new launches.  On the way home I had a good look at the contents of the goody bag and decided the Frosted Nail Lacquers were the products I was most looking forward to trying.  When I got home and started swatching everything it was the new shades of the Velvet Touch Lipstick, but having had a good try of everything, without a shadow of a doubt, my favourites are the absolutely awesome Forever Eye Shadows.

The Forever Eye Shadows are metallic shadow sticks that are creamy, highly pigmented and very easy to use.  There are eight shades available in total and I’ve been playing with the neutrals which are Beige – a pale, frosty vanilla shade; Light Copper – a medium warm brown; Brown – a deep taken on the brown shade and lastly grey – an almost black take on a gun metal shade.

I haven’t used Grey yet as quite frankly it’s a little terrifying considering just how pigmented it is (great for a seriously easy smokey eye though!) but the other three work beautifully together to create an easy neutral eye with depth and contour.  If I’m limited on time I just swipe Light Copper all over my eye and line it under my eye (takes all of about 20 seconds), if I have a bit more time I had depth the centre of the eye with Beige and I also use it on the inner corners (add another 15 seconds) and lastly if I’m not pushed for time I use Brown as a definer on the outer corners.  I then blend everything together with a cotton bud and seriously, after a couple of minutes it sets and does not budge.

I have oily lids and most of the time I can’t be bothered with primer, so if an eyeshadow settles in to creases then it gets shoved to the back of my make-up kit pretty quickly.  These sticks from GOSH don’t do that at all, and hold on to both their colour and metallic finish right up until you remove them (with easy, thankfully!) in the evening.  I am so impressed with these and I will definitely be investing the other shades, specially the plum colour, the Silver Rose and possibly the Forest Green too.

In the pictures I have Light Copper all over the eyelid, Brown on the outer corner and Beige on the inner corner.  All shades of the GOSH Forever Eye Shadows are available now from Superdrug – link – for an absolute steal of £5.99 a pop.  There’s currently a buy one, get one half price deal on so if you’re quick then you can save a few quid too.
