My Sign by Makeup Revolution

I think everyone who loves makeup has at least something in their kit by Makeup Revolution, and here’s another cute collection worth checking out, courtesy of a collaboration with Krista from Beauty and the Dirt.  The My Sign by Makeup Revolution contains 12 eyeshadow palettes and 12 lipglosses which are all loosely tagged to each of the star signs.  I say ‘loosely’ because obviously this is make-up and there are no hard and fast rules; I’m a Pisces but I preferred the Libra colours, so that’s what I went for!

Each of the Complete Eye Bases are presented in the form of a colour wheel and contain primer, three shadows in a mix of finishes and a duo of brow shadows too.  Considering each palette fits into the palm of your hand, these are great designs that contain a lot of product – none of the shadows are especially small, although the brow shades are half-sized, but if you think of the average size of a brow brush, this isn’t going to be an issue. The Eye Base palettes are definitely the star of the show, but there are also 12 lipglosses in the collection too, each of which also corresponds to the star sign theme and works with the complimentary eye palette.  As you would expect from a Makeup Revolution launch, these sit comfortably within the budget end of pricing with the palettes costing £5 and the lipglosses are £3.  I know that this is a limited edition collection and I believe – if my rubbish memory recalls correctly – that this is only available for the next few weeks (it launched at the end of last year) so if you see something you fancy, you’ll need to move pretty quickly.  You can view the whole collection here – link – and also pick them up in Superdrug, but as we’re near the end of the limited edition run, I would guess you’d have an easier time finding what you want on the Tam Beauty site.
