I had the most amazing facial at the Four Seasons a couple of weeks ago (full review here) courtesy of Omorovicza, which finished with an application of their new Midnight Radiance Mask…and from then on I was hooked. The Omorovicza Midnight Radiance Mask is a sleeping mask designed to brighten and smooth skin, so you awake with a complexion that is both hydrated and lightly exfoliated, and it really does deliver on both those promises. The main ingredients are Salicylic Acid and Sand Lily which provide the active exfoliation, and Red Algae and Sodium Hyaluronate (a form of Hyaluronic Acid) that provide the hydration.
The formula is a soothing, calming gel that’s thick but still feels light on the skin. I’m not a massive fan of sleeping masks but this is one I’ve reached for pretty much religiously since I got it (and far more than the recommended 2-3 times a week!) because it’s just such a fantastically balancing treatment that feels like it addresses all my main issues, by treating my spots and pigmentation whilst also hydrating, whilst straddling the best of both worlds and getting it exactly right – the exfoliation is light, as is the hydration, so there’s no harsh stripping or flooding of the skin and you wake with a complexion that really does look and feel significantly better. Omorovicza are a luxury brand with a price tag to match that might be a struggle for some, so if you’re unsure, head to your local Omorovicza counter (the one at Liberty is amazing) and see if you can grab a sample. I always think that expensive skincare is only a worthy investment if it really delivers, and the Omorovicza Midnight Radiance Mask really, really does. This beautiful tub of soothing, hydrating, spot-fighting joy is £90 here – link.
