Considering the sorry state of my health, I really shouldn’t be blogging or looking at online cosmetics stores. However, I’ve decided to do both (so there) and I wanted to do a post about some of the rather interesting new arrivals over at ELF as the offerings appear quite promising. My experience with ELF is a bit hit and miss (love their brushes, not so sure on their cream shadows/blushers) but considering they’re sooo reasonably priced, I still have the motivation to keep trying their new products so here’s a selection of the products that have piqued my interest:
Radiance Enhancer
From looking at the description, I’m guessing this is pretty much a highlighter with a more elegant name. The thing that appeals to me immediately is the fact that there are three colour options which I really like in a highlighter as I don’t believe that the one-size-fits-all approach works with any kind of make-up, so it shouldn’t be the same for highlighters. The shades available are Spotlight (pale pink), Sunrise (peachy pink) and Golden (orangey brown) and they’re all priced at £3.50.
Mineral Moisturising Lip Tint
If you’re a fan of the pink, you’ll want to check out the shade selection on offer for this lip tint as it’s like a Dulux chart of all the pinks. If you’re not a fan of pink then there isn’t a huge amount on offer for you here though. Luckily, I love pink, so I’m really loving the look of these tints. They contain an SPF8 which, for all intents and purposes is a bit pointless I feel, but noteworthy nonetheless. These are priced at £3.50.
Brightening Eye Liner
Apparently brights will be making a return for spring, so ELF have timed the arrival of these gorgeous looking liners perfectly. They’re made using a gel to powder formulation so hopefully this will mean they’re less prone to dragging on the eyelid. They’re available in three shades which are Exotic Green, Teal and Electric Purple and are priced at £1.50.
These are just a few of the things that caught my eye, but there’s a lot going on in both the new arrivals section here and the sales section here so if you’re a fan of beauty on a budget, now’s the time to head over to ELF.
The highlighter and the lip tints look interesting. I’ve been quite chuffed with my elf purchases so far, but have heard equally bad things about some of their items. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks Chrissy 🙂 I really like the look of the lip tints but I’m struggling with narrowing my colour choices as they’re all really lovely! xx
