As promised in my Breast Cancer Awareness post earlier today, here’s a closer look at the Pink Ribbon Honey shade of Almost Lipstick from Clinique. In the stick it looks like an almost neon fuchsia shade that will dazzle on the lips, but it translates as a far more wearable, pretty pink instead. It’s very gentle, but still maintains a brightness and doesn’t fall into wishy-washy territory; it’s a soft way of wearing a statement pink!
The lipstick bullet has a pink ribbon near the base to acknowledge the fact that it’s a Breast Cancer Awareness launch, and the pink pretty much matches the shade of lipstick. As you can see in the images, you also get a cute little cosmetics pouch in the trademark BCA colours; pale pink background with the fuchsia ribbon running across the case as an embellishment. All this is just £16, with £2 going to charity, which I think is a pretty fabulous deal; I feel like Clinique have really gone out of their way to make this promotional product as appealing as possible, so I’ll definitely be snapping one up soon.
