I’m breaking my ‘no blogging at weekends’ rule to give you a quick heads-up on this awesome sounding duo incoming from Murad soon, the Blackhead & Pre Clearing Duo which I first heard about last night during an event at The May Fair Hotel that introduced us to the massive collection of sunscreens on offer from Murad; more on that later!
The Murad Blackhead & Pore Clearing Duo is exactly as it sounds; a duo of products designed to remove blackheads and clear out pores. However, the difference between this and other similar products is that this is a two step procedure; firstly you use the Blackhead Remover (a clay based mask-style treatment) to remove blackheads and clear out pores, then you follow with the Pore Refining Sealer which is designed to keep pores clear and clean. This is significant because the real issue with most blackhead treatments is that they remove the blackhead but then leave the pore open and susceptible to new blackheads resulting in a vicious and rather pointless circle.
We’re not getting the Murad Blackhead & Pre Clearing Duo until later in the year (I want to say July but I could be wrong!) but I’m very excited to try it out and see if it’s any good as it certainly sounds promising; I think blackheads are a problem that we all suffer from at some point regardless of our skin types, so hopefully this kit will do the job, especially as it’s suitable for all skin types.
