As promised, here’s my follow-up post on the Boots No7 AW14 collection. Apologies for doing separate posts for a couple of new launches recently, I promise to get more organised and start putting them all in the same post again soon! Interestingly you can really see how dry and flat my skin is looking at the moment; it feels horrendously tight and no amount of rich oils and creams are making any difference at all. Annoying. Anyway, back to the make-up…
As expected, the colour payoff from the eyeshadow palette was a lot better on the eye than as hand swatches. I used the taupey mauvey shade all over my lid and under the eyelid, followed by the navy shade as a liner on the upper lid and a tiny bit at the outer, lower edge of each eye blended in. I then finished with the champagne shade blended into the crease for a bit of light and light. On the lips I’m wearing the Raspberry Wine shade and the cheeks have the new Watermelon shade of the Pop & Glow. I stand by my initial assessment of the blush shade being rather summery, but the rest of the collection is bang on trend and really rather fab; everything is available now both instore and online.
You really suit strong lip colours x
Thanks so much; I’m trying to lean more towards them now as so many people have mentioned that strong colours work well on me; so expect more bright lips posts soon 😉 xx
Very pretty! Love the lip colour!
Thanks lovely! It’s a great collection that’s very autumnal xx
