Avon are releasing some gorgeous make-up lately; products of note include their gel pencil liners and the new lipsticks that launch early next year, however, today I thought I’d show you the Avon Master Collection which forms part of the Christmas line-up and is one serious colour collection.
As you can see, it’s a giant palette packed full of goodies; you get 55 (!!) eyeshadows, 10 lipsticks, four blushers, three brushes and a decent sized mirror within the palette. I’m sure it has a fancy name for it, but basically as you slide open the palette there’s what I’d describe as a mezzanine level containing 10 nude and smokey eye shades alongside the four blushers and 10 lipsticks, then the lower level houses 45 more eyeshadow shades in a wealth of wearable colours.
This is such a gorgeous palette isn’t it? I had to feature it in my 12 Gifts of Christmas guide as it’s the sort of present that I think all beauty lovers would really enjoy; it’s a great starter kit for someone new to make-up, but it’s also lots of fun to play with and add to your existing collection. It’s also very well designed so that it doesn’t take up a lot of room and all the products are well-sized. I like the fact that three brushes include a liner brush alongside a blusher brush and a more standard foam shadow brush – obviously don’t expect quality in the brushes as they’re very basic, but they do the job if you’re pushed for space and plan to travel with it. All-in-all, this is a great little palette that has a decent price tag of £28. I can’t seem to find it online for some reason, so hopefully it’s still in stock and I’ll update if I manage to find any more info.
