To mark Body Confidence week in October and to celebrate the 2014 Body Confidence Awards, bareMinerals hosted a makeup suite within the Houses of Parliament to makeup the award winners and guests and suggested products that would help them feel their most confident. They also put together a collection of products designed to flatter and enhance which the brand believe is key to feeling confident within your own skin.
The six products that form the look are bareSkin Brightening Serum Foundation, Stroke of Light Eye Brightener, The Truth Eye Shadow Palette, Moxie Lipstick in either Speak Your Mind (pink) or Be Free (berry), Moxie Lip Gloss in Trail Blazer and finally Lash Domination Mascara. For some inexplicable reason I managed to forget to put mascara on in the above picture, but everything else is there!
The lip products above are Marvelous Moxie Lipliner in Jazzed and Electrified alongside the three lip products from the look. I really like the Speak Your Mind lipstick shade which is a beautiful, muted pink that’s very 60’s and works really well alongside both a bold or neutral eye. The Be Free shade is a lovely berry shade that suits the current season.
I love, love, love bareMineral Eyeshadow palettes as they do some great combinations, especially for those of use who enjoy a nude eye. These shades blend like a dream and are the right side of shimmery to give a very flattering finish.
Last up is the blusher in The One which isn’t actually included in the line-up for the confidence face, but it’s one of those shades that works well with everything – a lot like the Speak Your Mind lipstick – and is particularly flattering in a pared down, easy look like this.
