There was plenty of party inspiration for your nails in my last post here, so now on to another great way to get in the party spirit with some extremely pretty lashes from Eylure.
However, before I show you the party lashes, let’s have a quick look at their Lash Edits, which are little book style collections of three sets of lashes available in New York, Paris, or the pictured London.
As you can see, you get a few different looks to try as well as two tubes of glue and I really like the presentation too. This is great value for just £12.95 a set here – link.
In my late teens I used to go clubbing a lot – usually 2-3 times a week – and I swear I enjoyed the dressing-up part more than the actual night out itself. When you go to a club you can get away with some seriously dramatic make-up, so I always loved playing with deep, smokey eyes and pink glittery lips. I also used to love lining my eyes with diamante studs – either individuals or you could also buy strips of them to apply like a stick on eyeliner – as it was such a pretty look, which leads me nicely to the Party Lashes from Eylure, which are lashes with studs and glitter attached to the part that sits along your eye-line – so, so pretty.
The two variants I have are Couture, which has dark grey studs set along the lash line and Twinkle which has silver glitter along the lash line and three black gem stones at the corner of each eye. I would quite happily wear either, although I think the Couture lashes work best at enhancing a smokey eye, whereas the Twinkle lashes would work well if you’re going for a subtle eye with a bright lip. I haven’t tried these as, alas, I have no occasion for them, but I would guess that application would be easier than more traditional lashes due to the fact that the bit that sits along your lash line is a lot more pronounced, so more easier to line-up…but don’t quote me! These are also a bargain at £6.95 a go here – link.
