It’s funny how the name “Bioderma” evokes images of the cult micellar water, when actually Bioderma is just the brand name…and what a brand it is! Flying the flag for affordable, mid-range French skincare, the Bioderma collection is vast, impressive and full of lovely products, a couple of which I turn to regularly. The Sensibio line – which contains the original H20 Solution – appears to be designed for mostly sensitive, reactive skin, which is exactly what mine is at the moment.
My skin dips in and out of spotty and dry, but with the weather changes and dodgy diet of the holiday, it’s playing up royally with a few breakouts, but mostly patches of sensitive dryness. This fabulous cream from Bioderma, the Sensibio Anti-Redness Cream, has been a lifesaver as it feels sooo soothing on the skin without aggravating my spots. I do still need something a little richer (I’m currently investing the rest of the Sensibio range) but this cream works wonderfully at settling dryness, redness and sensitivity so if you’re prone to tricky skin, I highly recommend adding this star to your arsenal.
