The latest Boots campaign is designed to encourage us to embrace the excitement we get from a new beauty product. As a hardcore beauty obsessive, I know this feeling all too well and after almost 4 years of blogging, I still get it nearly every day. A good day for me is when I have lots of make-up to sit down and play with and as there are sooo many new launches at the moment, I’m in my element!
Last week I was taken to visit the Boots flagship store at Piccadilly Circus. Firstly, what a store! I do most of my beauty and baby bits shopping at Boots and there’s nothing I enjoy more than browsing the makeup and skincare aisles to see what’s new. Okay, most of it I’ll already know about, but there’s always that occasional gem that stands out and gets my beauty juices flowing. I especially like the section near the till where they showcase new arrivals – it’s always where I heard first to see what’s new.
…but back to the Piccadilly Circus store which has had a total refurb and is now a beauty lover’s paradise. As soon as you walk-in you’re confronted with aisles of luxury beauty lines – a lot of which I had no idea Boots stocked, but more on that later – set out in brilliant white lighting with plenty of space for comfortable and harassment-free browsing. Then there’s the escalators that take you up to the next floor full of beauty goodness; here’s where you’ll find all things lifestyle such as supplements and electronic beauty as well as the more high-street brands and the skincare lines.
As you can see from the pictures, I sure did binge! I’m so happy to see some fabulous new brands available at Boots (I may have actually squealed when I saw Eve Snow) such as Liz Earle, Smashbox, YSL, Essie, Dior, Revlon, Soap and Glory as well as many, many others. If you haven’t visited a Boots store recently then I would start with the Piccadilly Circus store!
Lastly, to go along with the #LetsFeelLikeNew campaign there are some great cross-brand 3for2s available on literally loads of products. A lot of what you see in the pictures is featured in 3for2, such as Soap and Glory, Revlon, Rimmel and of course Boots No7, the latter of which have just released their gorgeous Spring collection which is extremely pretty! You can see it in the pictures but I’ll also be showing you more in a separate post this week. I’ll also be reviewing some of the other products in the pictures soon so if there’s anything specific pictured that you fancy finding out more about, let me know and I’ll aim to get the review up soon.

Amazing haul!! I got that No7 palette for Christmas and its brilliant. Its my daily palette now. In my opinion, it outlasts Urban Decay shadows by a mile. I can do my make up in the morning and my eyeshadow still looks perfect when I get home. I did the same test with my Naked2 palette and it had faded/disappeared by the time I got home. I am a No7 convert – most of my make up is now No7 – just wish I’d been able to nab the big palette that was released at Christmas!
I really do think that No7 is a massively underrated brand as I’m rarely disappointed with their products; I’m using one of their mascaras at the moment and it’s amazing! I did actually manage to get my hands on the bigger palette and it’s so great 🙂 The thing I like about both of the palettes is they include the Good Earth trio of shades – they are such great neutrals! xx
