I’ll be reviewing this set soon but I wanted to give you a quick look at it as I thought it might make a great Valentine’s gift for any skincare fanatic as it’s a trio of lovely skincare from Asian brand SK-II. I think this year we’ll be seeing facial Essences really take off in the UK beauty market. From what I can gather (and feel free to correct me if I’m wrong!) Essences are basically toners that contain active ingredients, so a kind of toner/serum hybrid. I’ll look into it more in time for my full review, but in the meantime, let’s have a closer look at the SK-II Facial Treatment Pitera Essence Set.
You get three products in this skincare trio: a full-sized Facial Treatment Essence (75ml), a Facial Treatment Clear Lotion (30ml) and a single Facial Treatment Mask. If I were to really moan I’d say it’s a shame you don’t get a couple of the masks, but I think the idea is that you boost your skin’s clarity with the lotion and the mask before maintaining it with the Essence. I love anything new skincare-wise and it’s been absolutely years since I’ve tried anything from SK-II (I remember buying a mask from them in the Boots sale and thinking it was the best bargain I’d ever got – I could only have been in my teens! So last year then…) so I will definitely be reviewing this set in more detail soon.
