Ren Rosa Centifolia No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm

I’m yet to try anything from Ren that I haven’t loved.  The Ren Rosa Centifolia range is especially lovely and I’m well over half way through the Rosa Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser (review here) which is one of the most calming and balancing cleansers I have in my stash.  I’ve recently started using the Ren Rosa Centifolia No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm which is another member of the Rosa Centifolia range.  Have I said Rosa Centifolia enough yet? ROSA CENTIFOLIA.

The Ren Rosa Centifolia No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm is an extremely thick, dense balm that has the wonderful rose scent; that’ll probably be the ROSA CENTIFOLIA.  It’s a bit of a nightmare to get out of the tube if you have a cold bathroom, which at first I found quite annoying as usually such balms are in tubs, but this is a better option for the benefit of hygiene.  This is my second cleanse (no matter what cleanser I’m using, I always start with an oil cleanse to remove make-up) on days when skin is feeling a little touchy, sensitive and weather-beaten as it’s rich, luxurious, and, like it’s Hot Cloth Cleansing sista’, it’s very soothing and calming.  I can’t rave enough about the Ren Rosa Centifolia range and I can’t imagine there would be many skin types that wouldn’t love this; it’s gentle enough for sensitive, shouldn’t cause breakouts on spot-prone and rich and hydrating enough for dry, so give it a whirl if you like your balms and fancy trying something new.  As a final plus, a little goes a long way so this should last a good few months.  It’s £24 here – link.
