Today is day two of the Brent Cross Spring Beauty Fix which is well worth checking out if you’re fancy snagging a deal or two, or you just love your beauty since there’s lots of demos and promos on throughout the day. There’s quite a few incentives involved as well, such as free treatments, samples and an impressive book of vouchers that you can use on the day for brands such as Dior, Bobbi Brown, Decleor, Clarins and plenty others.
The demos are taking place in the main part of the centre with four brands having a spot for a few hours before new brands take over, so if you’re planning to be there for a while then you might want to keep popping back to see what’s new. Some of the brands demoing today are Laura Mercier, Clarins, Clinique, Chantecaille, bareMinerals and Rodial.
There’s also a beauty amnesty that will give you a £10 voucher to be used at the store’s beauty venues at anytime up until 6pm tonight. To get the voucher you need to hand-in five old beauty items, and I’m guessing it’s one voucher per customer, but you never know! I was given a voucher to spend yesterday, the first day of this two-day event, and I decided to pick up a couple of things that I’ve wanted for a while but couldn’t justify purchasing, mainly because I have more than enough foundations and lipsticks, but there you go!
I went for the Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Foundation – because I need something creamy since my skin is now quite prone to looking dry – and Mac Saint Germain lipstick – a shade I know won’t suit me but it’s just so pretty, so I needed it in my collection! Even if demos aren’t your thing, it’s worth attending just for the very generous book of vouchers and the various sample promotions.
